Emily Porter

Emily Porter is an experienced professional with a diverse background in administrative support, community engagement, and publicity within the arts and environmental sectors. Currently serving as the Administrative Support Coordinator at the League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County since May 2023, Emily also volunteers in communications for Junior Wildlife Ranger. Prior roles include Community & Publicity Manager and various positions at Porchlight Book Company, as well as co-founding Mudita Magazine. Additional experience includes contributing to film festivals in roles such as Program Director for GenesisMKE Gallery, Awards Processing Assistant, and House Manager. Emily holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and an Associate of Science in Environmental Science from Milwaukee Area Technical College.
