Manuel Torres

Manuel Torres has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Manuel began their career in 2010 as a Graphic Designer at ITESM Campus Morelia. Manuel then worked as a FABLAB Assistant at the same campus from 2011 to 2012, where they supported fellow students on design solutions and improved the lab's organization and logistics.

In 2014, Manuel became an Industrial Design Workshop Assistant at ITESM Campus Puebla, where they coached students on machinery and designed space and signals for FABLAB logistics.

From 2015 to 2015, Manuel interned as an Industrial Design Intern at Studio José de la O.

Manuel then joined Pirwi in 2016 as a Product Development and Project Management leader, overseeing design engineering, manufacturing control, and maintaining close relationships with suppliers and clients.

In 2019, Manuel worked as a Senior Product Designer at VR3 and as a Diseñador de productos at Oyster Financial, Inc. In these roles, they contributed to the visual design of core products interfaces.

Since 2020, Manuel has been working as a Product Designer at Lean Technologies, where they are responsible for the visual design of core product interfaces.

Additionally, Manuel founded DOT LABS in 2011, where they served as a founder until 2019.

Manuel Torres obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2011 to 2015. Manuel also pursued an Industrial Design Bachelor program at ITESM Campus Puebla during the same period. In February 2017, Manuel obtained a certification in "Managing Your Time" from LinkedIn.
