Martin Thiemann

Martin Thiemann has a diverse work experience in the field of design and user experience (UX). Martin is currently working as a Lead UX Designer at LeanIX since 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Lead Product Design at smartpatient from 2021 to 2023 and as a Senior UX Designer from 2015 to 2021. Martin also worked as a Design Mentor for Startups at UnternehmerTUM from 2015 to 2019. Martin has held various lecturer positions at Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm, teaching design, typography, web design, and web development from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they gained freelance experience as a UX Designer for various companies such as BMW Group, Deutsche Telekom, Payworks, Stylight, and BASF between 2011 and 2014.

Martin Thiemann obtained a Diplom in Communication Design from Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including Application Rationalization Certification Training, LeanIX Certified Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) Practitioner (Level 1), LeanIX Certified Value Stream Management (VSM) Practitioner (Level 1), and SaaS Contract Management Certification Training, all in October 2023.
