Dr. Hristo Pentchev

Dr. Hristo Pentchev has had a varied and successful career. From 2007 to 2018, they worked in several roles across several companies. From 2007 to 2012, they were a Researcher at Saarland University. In 2011, they became a Software Development Engineer at the European Microsoft Innovation Center. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at IT Inkubator GmbH, first as COO and then as Inkubations-Manager. Finally, from 2018 to present, they have been at Leanplum, where they have served as Site Lead and Director Product Development Operations and Technical Programs Lead, Senior Technical Program Manager, and Technical Program Manager.

Dr. Hristo Pentchev obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Universität des Saarlandes in 2016 and their Master of Science in Computer Science from the same university in 2007. In addition, they have obtained two certifications from the Scrum Alliance: Certified ScrumMaster in December 2016 and Certified Scrum Product Owner in April 2016.
