Weston Burke has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities in the manufacturing and aerospace industries. Weston started their career at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics as an intern in 2009, gaining experience in continuous improvement. Weston then worked as an Operations Engineer Intern in 2010 and U-2 Operations Engineer Intern in 2011. Weston joined Lockheed Martin in 2012 as part of the Operations Leadership Development Program, where they held various roles including Executive Assistant, Operations Engineer, Aircraft Supervisor, and Continuous Improvement Associate. In 2014, they became a Manufacturing Coordinator at Lockheed Martin's Advanced Development Programs. Weston then transitioned to a staff position in 2017 as a Staff Project Engineer. In 2019, they joined Lockheed Martin as a Manufacturing Manager, overseeing manufacturing operations. Weston's career continued to progress as they joined Astra in 2021 as the Director of Spacecraft Engine Production, responsible for leading production teams and implementing production plans. Finally, in 2023, they became the Vice President of Operations at LeanWerks, furthering their leadership and operational expertise.
Weston Burke earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Engineering with Integrated Technology Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Weston attended the university from 2007 to 2012.
