Barbara Rapchak has been working in the healthcare industry since 1990. Barbara began their career as the Founder of Leap of Faith Technologies, Inc., a digital health informatics company that integrates existing and emerging technologies, high-impact content, and strategies for delivery to improve patient compliance and healthcare outcomes. In 2010, they became the Vice President of Academic Innovation and Research and Development at Intelligent Medical Objects, the leading provider of medical terminology content and services supporting clinical workflow. In 2004, Barbara founded eMedonline, a telemonitoring platform that turns a smartphone into a mobile medication therapy management (MTM) platform to improve adherence, change behavior, and enhance outcomes. Finally, in 2002, Barbara became the Trustee and Executive Director of the Leap of Faith Foundation, which supports projects that use emerging technologies in an integration of technology, information, and social need.
Barbara Rapchak has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Life Sciences from the University of Notre Dame. Additionally, they are certified as a Private Aircraft Pilot by the Federal Aviation Administration.
