Ario Harsanto

Based in Singapore, Ario Harsanto is a key member of the Asia Financial Services team helping drive transactions and value creation within LeapFrog’s portfolio of high growth companies.

Ario joined LeapFrog from TAEL Partners, the pan-ASEAN private equity firm where he served as Vice-President. Here Ario was an integral part of the investment process with responsibilities including origination, deal execution, as well as value creation across the firm’s portfolio of companies in the renewable energy, food and agriculture and oil and gas industries. A key part of his role was serving as regional ESG (Environmental and Sustainability) officer, ensuring ESG compliance across the firms’ three funds.

Prior to TAEL Partners, Ario held investment roles focused on M&A, corporate restructuring, fundraising, leveraged recapitalization and reverse takeovers within key financial advisory, merchant banking and investment firms including ABN AMRO, Oakes Consultants and Delta Resources – Antara Capital Partners.

Ario holds an LLM in in Law & Finance from Amsterdam’s Duisenberg School of Finance, as well as a BA in Economics, Management and Corporate Finance from the University of Indonesia, where he achieved Cum Laude Honour.
