Evelyn Gordon

Evelyn Gordon is an experienced educator with a focus on mathematics and a strong background in teaching various grade levels. Currently serving as the 2nd and 3rd Grade Math Teacher and Math Department Lead at LEARN Charter School Network since October 2020, Evelyn has also held positions as a 5th Grade Teacher and a 4th and 5th Grade Math Teacher. Prior experience includes roles at Lighthouse Academies as a 2nd Grade Teacher and 4th Grade Math and Science Teacher, as well as serving as an AmeriCorps member with Teach For America and City Year, where Evelyn provided vital support and mentorship to students. Additional experience spans customer relations and merchandising at ASICS America and Sears, Roebuck and Co. Evelyn holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Calumet College of St. Joseph and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Illinois State University, complemented by a study abroad experience at Uppsala University.
