Christopher McKinney

Christopher McKinney is an accomplished professional dedicated to supporting underprivileged individuals through various educational and technical initiatives. As the Executive Director and Founder of Campus Rise since July 2015, Christopher has focused on helping top students from low-income backgrounds navigate the college journey. Concurrently, Christopher has been involved with Learn It Live since August 2013, facilitating online instructors in classroom operations and resolving technical challenges. Previously, as a Financial Mentor with Moneythink, Christopher imparted valuable financial knowledge to prepare students for critical life decisions. Christopher's early career includes an internship at Save the Children US, where project management and advocacy were key responsibilities, and a teaching role at Jumpstart, enhancing literacy skills among young children. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northwestern University and Pitzer College.
