Missy Sherburne

Appointed to the role of Chief of Growth and Strategic Partnerships in August of 2020, Missy is focusing on delivering partnerships to support the expansion of Learning Ally Solutions. Most recently Missy served as Senior Vice President at Tinkergarten, an early childhood education, social impact company. Before joining Tinkergarten, Missy was a founding leader and Chief Partnerships Officer for DonorsChoose, where she led the organization’s 18-person partnerships and business development team.

Previously, she was the North Carolina Executive Director with Teach For America. She started her career as a Teach For America corps members in Baltimore, teaching the third and fourth grades. Missy holds B.A. degrees in Political Science and Speech Communication from Miami University and a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University's Kennedy School where she was a Public Service Fellow.
