Allison Koch

Allison Koch is an experienced Family and Consumer Science Teacher currently working at The Learning Lamp since January 2015. Koch has extensive knowledge of blackboard course management systems and is well-versed in Pennsylvania Academic Standards and Common Core Standards. Previous teaching roles include positions at Agora Cyber Charter School and Westmont Hilltop School District, where responsibilities included managing a preschool class and teaching various subjects related to child development and life skills. In addition to teaching, Koch has served as a senior and junior class advisor, organized events, and volunteered as a track and after-school workout coach. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum Supervision from Gannon University and a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences/Home Economics Teacher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
