Elspeth Briscoe

Elspeth Briscoe has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, beginning with their role as Account Director at Brodeur - Omnicom Group in 1996. From 2000 to 2002, they held the role of Marketing Manager at www.petsonthebrain.com, a Pricewaterhouse Coopers e-commerce incubator. Elspeth then moved to eBay in 2002 as Photography Category Manager, and was promoted to Senior Manager, Seller Programmes & Community at eBay UK in 2004. From 2006 to 2012, they held two roles at Skype (eBay Inc): Strategy Director, Telecoms (Global) and Head of Integration (Europe). In 2011, they founded MyGardenSchool, the world's first virtual horticultural school. In 2012, they worked as a consultant for Guardian News & Media in the role of Internet Strategy/Growth Hacking. In 2015, they founded Learning with Experts, a company focused on solving the issue of high dropout rates in online education. Finally, they are the Founder of Elspeth Briscoe Designs, a landscape design company.

Elspeth Briscoe attended Wycome High School (Grammar) from 1983 to 1987, followed by Sir William Borlase's Grammar School from 1989 to 1991. Elspeth then studied at Bournemouth University from 1990 to 1996, where they earned a BA hons in Public Relations, with a focus on PR, Marketing, Advertising, Economics & Politics, Law, and Photography. In 2001 and 2002, they attended St. Martin's College, where they completed a Pre Foundation in Art. In 2008, they earned a PGDip from Oxford College Garden Design in Landscape Design.
