Lee Ross began their career in 1989 as a Park Planner for the City of Hartford. In 1991, they moved to the City of Atlanta to become an Assistant to the Commissioner and Public Information Officer. In 2000, they joined Intelligent Education, Inc. as a Business Operations Manager. In 2002, they became Vice President of the Entrepreneurial Center. In 2003, they joined Reveal Technologies as Vice President of Corporate Sales. In 2007, they moved to CORE Education and Consulting Solutions as Vice President of Business Development. Since 2009, they have been President and CEO of SlateXP, Inc., a Birmingham-based student safety software company. Lee leverages SlateXP's technology, LearnSafe, to ensure responsible K12 computer use, close mainstream education technology gaps, mitigate risk, exceed regulatory requirements and related digital safety concerns. LearnSafe provides behavior identification through evidence-based, computer screen-captures driving meaningful interventions that are critical to a safe, respectful education and social learning experiences.
Lee Ross attended the University of Connecticut from 1985 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Agriculture (Landscape Architecture).
