Shane Hession

Shane Hession has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Shane started their career in 2013 at Glanbia as a Digital Media Designer. In 2013, they joined LearnUpon where they held various positions, beginning as a Technical Support Engineer before moving up to Senior Technical Support Engineer. In 2016, they became the Head of Customer Support, a role they held until 2017. In January 2018, Shane assumed the position of Senior Site Reliability Engineer at LearnUpon.

Shane Hession has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Interactive Digital Media from Trinity College Dublin. Shane also obtained a B.A (Hons) degree in Media Production Management from Dublin City University. Additionally, they have a Higher Diploma in Game and Interactive Media Design from Ballyfermot College of Further Education. In terms of certifications, Shane has obtained the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2020, as well as the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect - Associate certification from AWS in the same month and year.
