Nick Contaldo has a extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Nick began their career in 2000 as a Design and Technology Principal at Re:ignition Studios and then worked as a Marketing Assistant at Sachnoff & Weaver, Ltd. In 2006, they joined Sears Holdings Corporation as a Manager in Corporate Store Operations. From 2007 to 2012, Nick worked at Cramer Krasselt, initially as an Interactive Flash Developer and later as a Technical Lead.
In 2012, they joined Infusionsoft as a Senior Interaction Designer and gradually moved up to become the Director and Head of Product Design & User Experience. During their tenure, Nick built a distributed 14-person Product Design organization and introduced various products to the market.
In 2017, they joined Invitation Homes as the Director and Head of Product Management, where they led a team that launched software for smart home services, self-showings, leasing, and maintenance.
In 2019, they joined Synchronoss Technologies as the Director of Product Management for Personal Cloud and later became the Director and Head of IoT Product Management. At Synchronoss, they developed a B2C offering, negotiated distribution deals, and won product trial contracts worth $23 million.
In 2022, they worked at Lessen as the Director of Product - Command Center, managing a team of three Product Managers and shipping software that eliminated operational bottlenecks. Currently, Nick is working as a Product Management & Design Consultant at LeaseHawk since 2023.
Throughout their career, Nick has demonstrated expertise in product management, design, and user experience, as well as a track record of driving revenue growth and achieving operational targets.
Nick Contaldo has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with majors in International Business and Marketing from Loyola University Chicago. Nick also holds an Associate's degree in Liberal Science with a focus on General Education from Elgin Community College. In addition to their formal education, Nick Contaldo has obtained several certifications. These certifications include AI Product Management from Duke University in April 2023, Transforming Customer Experience from Designit in March 2015, Pragmatic Marketing Focus from Pragmatic Marketing in January 2015, Pragmatic Marketing Foundations from Pragmatic Marketing in January 2015, Disney's Approach to Quality Customer Service from Disney Institute in September 2014, and User Experience Research from University of Denver in August 2014.
