Caio Poletti Romano

Caio Poletti Romano serves as a Special Project Manager and Senior Field Instructor at NOLS since June 2011, overseeing wilderness expeditions and coaching staff development in various capacities, including as Program Supervisor in both the Adirondacks and Baja California Sur. Additionally, Caio works as an Outdoor Educator at Outward Bound Brasil and has been an instructor with the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics since May 2012, focusing on minimum impact practices. Previous experience includes roles as a Sea Kayaking and White Water Kayak Instructor with the American Canoe Association, a Personal Trainer at Reebok Sports Club São Paulo, and various coaching positions in running and triathlons. Caio holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and a postgraduate degree in Sports Nutrition from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
