Mark Shoun

Mark Shoun is a data scientist with over ten years of experience in the field. Mark currently works as the Lead Data Scientist at Ledger Investing, where they oversee the company's data analytics and provides insights to clients. Prior to their current position, Mark worked as a Senior Data Scientist at B23 LLC from August 2017 to June 2018. Mark also spent three years as the Lead Product Modeling Analyst at GEICO, where they built statistical models to help the pricing department make more informed decisions. Mark began their career in the United States Air Force, where they served as a trombonist in a jazz band and was responsible for managing IT assets and technical training for 25 members.

Mark Shoun has a Master’s Degree in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
