Evan Shubin

Evan Shubin has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Investor #1 and COO at Game Gym Esports since March 2020. Evan is also an Investor and COO at Leed Seed (formerly My Three Bids) since September 2021. Additionally, Evan is the President and Founder of Candlelight Partners LLC, a family office / boutique investment firm that provides funding and assistance to startups. Evan has been involved with various companies through Candlelight Partners LLC, such as Game Gym, Leed Seed, autonomous_ID, Dwellwell Analytics, TENZR by BioInteractive Technologies, rThreat, and PRE:MIND.

Evan is also the Co-Founder and COO of Half A Hire, a subscription service that offers fractional staff solutions to organizations, starting from April 2023. Evan has held multiple advisory and mentorship roles, including serving as a Mentor at the University of Maryland's Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship since January 2021 and being an Ambassador and Member of the Prep Team at The Big Idea CONNECTpreneur Community since February 2022.

Evan Shubin pursued their education starting in 1985 at Brown University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Economics in 1990. Following this, they attended the University of Maryland from 1993 to 1996, earning a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing.
