Omar Boy

Omar Boy has worked in the construction industry since 2001. Omar began their career as a Construction Inspector for Materials Testing & Inspection, where they were responsible for inspection of concrete, rebar, piles, caissons, soil bearing capacity, soil density test, and asphalt moisture test. Omar was also certified by ACI. In 2006, they moved to Jersey Precast Corporation, where they worked as a Project Engineer and Production Manager. Omar'sresponsibilities included estimating, survey, calculation of steel camber, project scheduling, and project management. In 2014, they moved to D&D Construction Services, where they worked as a Project Engineer. Omar then moved to PCL Construction, where they worked as a Project Engineer and Manager. Omar'sresponsibilities included managing subcontractors' scope of work, preparing and verifying progress billings to the owner from subcontractors, writing subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and contract revisions. Omar was also responsible for field coordination of MEP scope of work, including ductwork, electrical, and mechanical pipe. In 2019, they moved to Kiewit, where they worked as a Superintendent, Engineer, and Senior Estimator. In 2022, they began working as a Project Manager for Leeding Builders Group.

Omar Boy attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2007, where they earned a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Civil Engineering.
