Samuel Lou

Samuel Lou is an experienced volunteer and professional in the museum and customer service sectors. Currently serving as a Museum Volunteer at Maidstone Museum And Bentlif Art Gallery, Samuel is involved in exhibition setup and research. Additional roles include Receptionist at Leeds Castle and Young Advisor for The Council for British Archaeology. Previous positions include Exhibition Research Volunteer at Pontefract Museum, where Samuel focused on researching Victorian women entrepreneurs, and participated in various exhibition engagement activities. Samuel has also completed a LITE Summer Research Placement at the University of Leeds, exploring colonial history, and held the position of Student Ambassador, promoting the School of History undergraduate program. Prior work experience includes a Sales Associate role at the LEGO Group, where Samuel was recognized as Employee of the Quarter, and an Office Assistant position at Alliance Communications Ministry Limited, managing administrative tasks and customer service. Samuel holds a joint-honours BA in History and Sociology from the University of Leeds.
