Susan Prichard has a diverse work experience in the field of curatorial and museum management. Susan is currently working as the Head Curator at Leeds Castle since November 2021. Prior to that, they were associated with Royal Museums Greenwich from 2015 to 2021, where they held the roles of Research Associate and Senior Curator of Decorative Arts. At Royal Museums Greenwich, they had specific responsibilities for various aspects of fine art and played a key role in the planning and delivery of art gallery programs. Susan also worked at the Victoria and Albert Museum as a Curator from 2001 to 2015, where they were responsible for strategic planning, operational management, and lead curator for exhibitions. Susan started their career at Tate as a Change Management Coordinator from 1998 to 2001.
Susan Prichard completed their Master's degree in Museology/Museum Studies from the Institute of Archaeology, UCL, from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended Hurlingham School for Girls from 1971 to 1977. No specific degree or field of study was mentioned for their time at Hurlingham School.
