David Risinger has extensive experience in the finance industry, particularly in equity research. David currently holds the position of Senior Managing Director at SVB Leerink, starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they served as Chief Financial Officer at Cellarity from July 2021 to September 2021. David also worked at Morgan Stanley for a significant period, serving as Managing Director from April 2009 to July 2021. Before joining Morgan Stanley, they held the position of Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from November 2002 to April 2009, and Senior Vice President at Merrill Lynch from June 1999 to November 2002. David began their career as a Research Assistant at Dillon Read from August 1991 to December 1993. David Risinger's expertise in finance and equity research has been honed through their various roles in prestigious organizations.
David Risinger attended Vanderbilt University from 1987 to 1988, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during this time. David later studied at Bucknell University from 1989 to 1991 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science. In 1995, they obtained a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute.
