Robert Turpin is a historian with extensive academic experience, currently serving as a Professor of History and Lecturer of History at Lees-McRae College since July 2014. Prior to this role, Robert was an Adjunct Instructor of History at Campbellsville University from July 2013 to October 2014 and a Part-Time Instructor at the University of Kentucky from August 2010 to June 2013, where Robert also functioned as a Teaching Assistant for a Modern American History course. Robert's earlier career included a position as a Paralegal at the Legal Aid Society from May 2004 to July 2007. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in History from the University of Kentucky, obtained in 2013, and studies at the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville from 2003 to 2004.
