Barbara Fernandez

Barbara Fernandez serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Leesar, Inc. since April 2013, specializing in HR and Security with a solutions-oriented and hands-on approach. Prior to this role, Barbara was the Director of Clinical Services at the Visiting Nurses Association of SW Florida from November 2008 to March 2013, where multiple revenue streams were developed and staff competency training was conducted. Earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Human Resources and Special Programs at the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of the Florida Keys, Inc. from February 2000 to November 2008, where Barbara established the HR department. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Education in Adult and Career Education from Valdosta State University, a Master of Legal Studies in Law/Human Resources from Hodges University, an Associate of Science in Nursing from Florida Keys Community College, and a Bachelor's in Health Administration from Hodges University, along with a Professional in Human Resources Certification from HRCI.
