Lorenzo Casini

Lorenzo Casini has a diverse work experience that includes roles in academia, government, and public organizations. Lorenzo is currently the Presidente of Lega Serie A since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Full Professor of Administrative Law at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca starting from December 2015. Lorenzo also held the position of Presidente at IRPA Istituto di ricerche sulla pubblica amministrazione since October 2021. From September 2019 to March 2022, Casini worked as the Capo di gabinetto at Ministero della Cultura. Additionally, they were Co-President of the International Society of Public Law from July 2018 to July 2021. Lorenzo also served as Presidente at IRPA Istituto di ricerche sulla PA from December 2018 to September 2019. Casini has experience working with the Italian Government as a Legal Counsel to the Italian Minister of Cultural Heritage from May 2014 to May 2018. Lorenzo has also held positions at Sapienza Università di Roma, Constitutional Court of the Republic of Italy, and NYU School of Law.

Lorenzo Casini began their education at Sapienza Università di Roma in 1994, where they pursued a degree in Law. Lorenzo successfully completed their graduation in 1999. Building upon their academic achievements, Casini furthered their education at the same institution and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law from 2000 to 2004.
