Christina Murphy

Christina Murphy is an experienced educator specializing in early childhood education, with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Kindergarten Teacher at Abss since August 2018 and as a Lead Preschool Teacher at Legacy Academy Early Child Care & Educational Excellence since June 2017, Christina has previously held similar positions at Excel Christian Academy and The Learning Center at Harvest. Christina emphasizes the importance of social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and self-help development through creative curriculum in a diverse and safe learning environment. Christina holds both an Associate's and a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Alamance Community College and Ashford University, respectively, and has obtained BK licensure from East Carolina University.
