Rebecca Ward, PT, DPT has a diverse work experience in the field of physical therapy. Rebecca most recently served as the Rehab Director at Legacy Healthcare Services since May 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Physical Therapist at Cone Health from March 2015 to April 2018. Rebecca also worked as a Physical Therapist at Duke Regional Hospital from October 2014 to March 2015. Rebecca gained valuable experience as a Student Physical Therapist through various clinical internships from July 2013 to April 2014. During their time at Duke University in 2013, Rebecca participated in the Global Health Summer Institute and completed a Visiting Fellowship in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). Rebecca also had a study abroad experience at Simpson College from January 2008 to May 2009.
Rebecca Ward, PT, DPT, obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology and Spanish from Simpson College during the period of 2006 to 2010. Rebecca then further pursued their education at Duke University School of Medicine from 2011 to 2014, completing their Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. In addition to their educational background, Rebecca Ward holds additional certifications including Certified Brain Injury Specialist from the Brain Injury Association of America, obtained in June 2016, and BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association, obtained in September 2011.
