Van James

Van James is currently the 4-8 Principal at Legacy Prep. Prior to this role, Van served as a School Principal and Assistant Principal at Bessemer City Middle School. Van also gained teaching experience as a Middle School Teacher at the same school. Before transitioning into school administration, Van was a Fourth Grade Teacher at Abrams Elementary School. Van holds a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University.
