Michael DeJoy has extensive experience in advocating for foster children, currently serving as an Educational Surrogate for Foster Children in Special Education Programs at the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada since December 2013. Additionally, Michael has been a CASA Volunteer with the Court Appointed Special Advocate Program of Clark County, Nevada, since July 2012, focusing on the needs of foster children. Prior to these roles, Michael held the position of Director at Swiss Re Financial Services Corp from 1975 to 2011. Michael earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Bernard Baruch CUNY between 1975 and 1981.
