Eli Longnecker

Eli Longnecker is currently a Summer Law Clerk at the Legal Aid Justice Center, following a role as a Legal Extern at Centro de los Derechos del Migrante from January to May 2023. Previous experience includes a Summer Law Clerk position at the North Carolina Justice Center in 2022, and multiple roles in development and coordination at various organizations, including Instituto de Educacion Popular del Sur de California and the Los Angeles Worker Center Network from 2017 to 2021. Eli Longnecker also served as a Volunteer Organizer for UNITE HERE Local 11 and gained early experience as a City Hall Fellow with the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency from 2014 to 2016. Educational background includes a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of North Carolina School of Law, expected in 2024, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy Analysis from Pomona College earned in 2014.
