Senior Litigation Attorney at Legal Aid Justice Center

Rachel McFarland serves as a Senior Litigation Attorney at the Legal Aid Justice Center, with a tenure beginning in September 2015. Previous positions include Staff Attorney and Georgetown Partner Fellow at the same organization. Early legal experience includes a Summer Legal Intern role at Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, where Rachel McFarland researched foreclosure and consumer law. Additional experience encompasses representing asylum seekers at Georgetown University Law Center's Asylum Clinic and conducting legal research for various organizations. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. in Latin American & Iberian Studies as well as Rhetoric & Communication Studies from the University of Richmond.
