Armando D'Andrea

Armando D'Andrea has a diverse work experience in the fields of law and journalism. Armando began their career in 2004 as a City Desk Reporter/Intern at The London Free Press. In 2005, they interned at the newsdesk of National Post, Inc., where they later freelanced for the sports section, covering a wide range of topics. In 2006, Armando joined Legal Aid Ontario as a Staff Lawyer in the Roster Management Office, where they regulated legal aid lawyers and monitored compliance with legislative standards. During their time there, they also reviewed complaints of lawyer misconduct and participated in Law Society of Ontario disciplinary proceedings. In 2007, they established their own business, Armando D'Andrea Criminal Law Research And Drafting, where they worked as a Solicitor until 2016. Armando D'Andrea has an extensive education history. Armando began their academic journey in 1996 at York University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. After three years, they successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1999.

Following their bachelor's degree, Armando decided to continue their education at York University's Osgoode Hall Law School. From 1999 to 2002, they focused on Criminal Law and Public Law, and obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.

Armando further honed their knowledge and skills in journalism by pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Journalism at Western University. Armando enrolled in this program in 2004 and completed it in 2005.

In order to deepen their expertise in Criminal Law and Procedure, Armando returned to York University's Osgoode Hall Law School in 2020. Armando embarked on a Master of Laws (LL.M.) program, specializing in Criminal Law and Procedure. This program spans from 2020 to 2022.
