Criminal Duty Counsel at Legal Aid Ontario

Cassandra B. has a diverse background in the legal field. Cassandra began their work experience at Legal Aid Ontario in 2017 as a Law Student, where they gained valuable knowledge and skills. Cassandra then obtained a role as an Intake Worker at the Essex County Diversion Program, where they worked for a year. Following that, Cassandra became a Bail Verification and Supervision Worker at the John Howard Society of Windsor - Essex County. In 2018, they returned to Legal Aid Ontario as a Summer Student. Cassandra continued to advance in their career at Legal Aid Ontario and became a Student-at-law in 2019. Currently, they serve as a Criminal Duty Counsel. Throughout their work experience, Cassandra has demonstrated dedication and a commitment to the legal profession.

Cassandra B. completed their Honors Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English, Criminology & Socio-Legal Studies at the University of Toronto from 2012 to 2016. Cassandra then pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at the University of Windsor from 2016 to 2019.

In addition to their academic achievements, Cassandra obtained certifications such as Standard First Aid CPR/AED Level C from the Canadian Red Cross in December 2015. Cassandra also holds a Food Handler Certificate from Toronto Public Health. Furthermore, Cassandra is a member of the Criminal Lawyers' Association.
