Jayne Mallin has a diverse range of work experience in the legal aid sector. Jayne started their career as a Staff Lawyer at the Legal Clinic Guelph & Wellington County in 2001, where they remained until 2006. Jayne then joined Legal Aid Ontario as a Clinic and Programs Advisor in 2007, before transitioning to the Rexdale Community Legal Clinic in 2009 as the Director of Legal Services. There, they served until 2013 when they returned to Legal Aid Ontario as the Senior Counsel, Clinic Transformation.
Jayne Mallin obtained a Graduate Diploma in Social Innovation from the University of Waterloo in 2011-2012. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Development Economics and International Development from the University of Warwick from 1996-1997. Jayne also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Ottawa, completed between 1993 and 1996.
