Sean Laprairie

Sean LaPrairie has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Sean started their career as a Family Support Worker at Skookum Jim Friendship Centre in 2016. In 2017, they worked as an Instructor at Yukon College Whitehorse Correctional Centre Campus. The following year, Sean joined Legal Aid Ontario as a Summer Law Student. In 2019, they became an Articled Student at McCullough Watt Sutton & Lynskey. Sean then moved on to work as a Lawyer at Yukon Legal Services Society in 2020. Currently, they are employed as a Lawyer at Legal Aid Ontario starting in February 2023.

Sean LaPrairie completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from Ryerson University, where they attended from 2012 to 2016. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Law degree (JD) in Law at Queen's University, from 2016 to 2019.
