Sonja Sarenac's work experience includes roles at Legal Aid Ontario and Active Care Management. At Legal Aid Ontario, they started in 2015 as a Bilingual Client Service Centre Representative, where they received the Employee of the Quarter award and contributed to new hire training. Sonja then became a Training Assistant in 2020 before transitioning to a Bilingual Client Service Centre Specialist in 2017, where they managed a large number of inbound calls, addressed client needs and issues, and made eligibility decisions. Sonja was promoted to Team Lead in 2020 and later became a Training and Quality Specialist in 2021, where they provided training, demonstrations, and feedback. Currently, they hold the position of Operational Business Analyst, starting in 2023. At Active Care Management, they worked as a Bilingual Customer Service Coordinator in 2015.
Sonja Sarenac completed their Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Business Administration (Co-op) degree with a concentration in Management and Labour Studies and a minor in French Studies from the University of Windsor between 2010 and 2014. In September 2020, they obtained a certification in McGill Personal Finance Essentials from McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management.
