Tiiu Aloe has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Tiiu worked as a Barrister & Solicitor at MariAnn Tiiu ALOE since 2006, specializing in family law, civil litigation, and wills and estates. Their services included providing legal advice, drafting legal documents, and offering flat rate fees for self-represented individuals.
Tiiu also worked as a Duty Counsel at Legal Aid Ontario since 2006, where they provided legal advice in family and criminal law. Their responsibilities included drafting family law documents and representing clients in court for motions, conferences, settlements, and sentence submissions.
Additionally, Tiiu Aloe worked as a Teaching Assistant at both the University of Ottawa from 2002 to 2003 and Laurentian University from 1999 to 2000.
Prior to their legal career, they gained experience as a Property Manager at John Alo Developments from 1993 to 1997.
Tiiu Aloe attended Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Law & Justice. In 2000, they received the James D. Greco Award of Excellence in Law & Justice from the same university. Tiiu then pursued further education at the University of Ottawa from 2001 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.
