Skyler Chun

Skyler Chun is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Paralegal at the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii since October 2023, in an AmeriCorps position. Prior experience includes a News/Education Internship at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and various internships within the field of journalism, including roles at Alpha Sigma Nu, Inc. and The O'Brien Fellowship in Public Service Journalism, where work was conducted on an investigative project with New York Times Magazine freelancer, Samantha Shapiro. Skyler Chun held multiple editorial roles at Marquette Wire, including Executive Investigative Editor and Managing Editor of the Marquette Journal, and participated in diversity and inclusion initiatives. Additional experience includes an Advocacy Internship at Nonviolent Peaceforce and a Program Assistant role at Marquette University's Center for Community Service. Skyler Chun earned a B.A. in Journalism, a B.S. in International Affairs, and a Minor in Digital Media from Marquette University, having graduated in 2023.
