Shakira Scarborough

Shakira Scarborough, MS, is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Human Resources Associate at Legal Services NYC since June 2022, Shakira previously held roles at NJ TRANSIT from 2017 to 2022, including Regional Supervisor at the Bus Control Center and Employment Testing Specialist. Earlier experience includes positions at MTA - New York City Transit from 2007 to 2017, where Shakira worked as a Staff Analyst II in the Department of Security and a Staff Analyst I in Personnel Testing, Selection, and Classifications. Shakira holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management/Labor Relations and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business, as well as a certification from the SHRM Learning System obtained at the New York Institute of Technology.
