Da Xu

Da Xu has extensive work experience in the field of clinical pharmacology. They currently hold the position of Director, Global Head of Clinical Pharmacology at Legend Biotech since 2023. Prior to this role, they were an Associate Director of Clinical Pharmacology at the same company from 2021 to 2023. Before joining Legend Biotech, Da Xu worked as a Senior Clinical Pharmacologist and later as a Clinical Pharmacologist at Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine Co., Ltd. Da Xu also gained experience as an ORISE Fellow at the FDA from 2016 to 2017 and as an Intern at Genentech in 2016. They received their PhD in Pharmaceutics from Rutgers University in 2016 and worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the university from 2010 to 2016. Da Xu began their career as a Teaching Assistant at Nankai University in 2007.

Da Xu received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology Teacher Education from Jiangnan University in 2007. Da went on to complete a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Nankai University from 2007 to 2010. Afterwards, they pursued a PhD in Pharmaceutics, specifically Drug Transporter, at Rutgers University from 2010 to 2016. In 2015, Da Xu also obtained a certification in the "ABC of modelling drug transporter data" from Certara's Simcyp Focused Workshop.
