Mohit Kumar

Mohit Kumar has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mohit is currently working as a Senior Director Supply Chain at Legrand since May 2022. Prior to this, they had a long tenure at Emerson, where they held various roles. From November 2018 to May 2022, they served as the Director for Global Supply Chain and Global Category Management, responsible for implementing processes and strategies across different world areas. Mohit also held the position of Director for Global Supply Chain Strategic Projects from July 2014 to October 2018 and Global Project Supply Chain Manager from September 2012 to June 2014. Before joining Emerson, Mohit worked as a Supply Chain/Buy-Out Analyst in the Emerson MBA Program, where they led various projects related to standardization and reduction of complexity. Prior to their MBA Program, Mohit worked as a Supply Chain Analyst (MBA intern) at Emerson. Mohit started their career in the maritime industry as a Second Navigating/Cargo Officer at NYK Line from February 2004 to June 2007 and as a Third Navigating/Cargo Officer at Anglo Eastern from January 2001 to January 2004.

Mohit Kumar received a High School degree in Science from St Mary's Convent from 1983 to 1994. Mohit then pursued an Indian School Certificate in Science and Mathematics at St Francis' College from 1994 to 1996. Mohit went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Nautical Science from the University of Mumbai from 1997 to 2000. Finally, they completed their education with an MBA in Operations & IT from Vanderbilt University from 2007 to 2009.
