Jordan Facey is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries since December 2023, following a similar role at the University of Technology Sydney from February 2017 to December 2023. During this time, Jordan contributed to applied research on cyanobacterial blooms, environmental flows, and ecotoxicology while collaborating with government departments to address environmental challenges in freshwater systems. Additionally, Jordan served as a casual lecturer for Aquatic Ecology and taught various undergraduate subjects. Prior experience includes working as an Assistant Scientist at the NSW Department of Planning and Environment from October 2018 to January 2021, focusing on the maintenance of test organisms and ecotoxicology testing. Jordan holds a PhD in Freshwater Ecology and a Bachelor of Environmental Biology from the University of Technology Sydney.
