Gabriele Hamm has extensive experience in internationalization and project management within academic and research institutions. Currently serving as the Head of the Internationalisation Unit and EU Project Manager at the Leibniz-Institut für Photonische Technologien since October 2011, Gabriele Hamm oversees the initiation and management of international project applications and partnerships, facilitates EU project contract negotiations, and supports the search for funding opportunities. Prior to this role, Gabriele Hamm held the position of Head of Internationalisation Unit and EU Project Manager at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena from September 2008 to September 2011, demonstrating a consistent dedication to fostering international collaborations. Gabriele Hamm obtained a Magister degree in Art History, International German Studies, and Sociology from Friedrich Schiller University Jena and participated in an Erasmus program at the University of Amsterdam, focusing on similar fields of study.
