Salahaldeen Altous

Salahaldeen Altous is an experienced software engineer specializing in embedded Linux development, currently serving as a Senior Embedded Linux Developer at Leica Camera AG since May 2016, with responsibilities including the design and maintenance of Linux Kernel components and hardware brings-up. Prior to this, Salahaldeen worked at Deister Electronic from July 2011 to April 2016, focusing on embedded software development for image processing, including the creation of an SDK for IP cameras. Earlier in career, from October 2004 to September 2008, Salahaldeen held roles as a Maintenance Engineer and IT Administrator at Bright Tomorrow For Trading in Jordan, overseeing the installation of supermarket equipment and managing IT systems. Salahaldeen holds a Master’s degree in Process Automation from Technische Universität Dortmund and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Jami'at Mu'tah.
