Thomas Raab

Thomas Raab has extensive experience in software and hardware engineering, primarily in the field of camera technology. Since August 2000, Raab has been a Software Designer for digital cameras at Leica Camera AG, focusing on software development. Prior to this role, Raab worked as a Software Engineer at IDAS, creating software solutions for the automotive industry from January 2000 to August 2000. Additionally, between September 1997 and January 2000, Raab held positions as a Hardware and Software Engineer at Siemens, with a specialization in the design of switch mode power supplies. Early career experiences include an internship and diploma work at Dornier Seawings GmbH, where Raab gained experience in developing high-speed digital interfaces and worked with FPGAs using VHDL. Raab earned a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Information Technology from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen between 1991 and 1997.
