Soeren Alsheimer

Soeren Alsheimer is a Global Business Development Manager and Business Excellence and Development Manager for the Life Science Research business unit at Leica Microsystems since January 2018. Responsibilities include supporting M&A activities, evaluating strategic targets, and developing business models. Previously, Soeren Alsheimer held the position of Manager of Product Management for Advanced Microscopy, focusing on advanced imaging system solutions. Prior experience includes a role as Sales Specialist for 3D Imaging Systems at ZEISS Microscopy, where significant growth in sales was achieved, and a postdoctoral position at Max Planck Institutes Tübingen involved high throughput protein-protein interaction screening. Soeren Alsheimer earned a PhD in developmental biology from the Max Planck Society and holds a Diploma in Biology from Goethe University Frankfurt.
