Bob Hamans

Bob Hamans is a seasoned professional in the field of medical technology, currently serving as the Manager Medische Technologie at Leiden University Medical Center since November 2023. Prior to this, Bob held various roles at Siemens Healthineers from June 2016 to November 2023, including Global Manager Innovation and Customer Collaboration in Cancer Therapy, where responsibilities involved enhancing collaboration and innovation processes in the oncology sector. Additional roles at Siemens Healthineers included Innovation Manager and Enterprise Services & Solutions Manager for the Netherlands, focusing on developing new concepts and managing key accounts. Earlier experiences include serving as a Medical Physics Expert during postgraduate training at Jeroen Bosch Ziekenhuis and as a researcher and PhD candidate at Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre, where Bob specialized in MRI methods for tumor metabolism characterization. Bob holds a PhD from Radboud University and an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
