Danny van der Helm

Danny van der Helm serves as a Senior Data Manager and Data Scientist at Leiden University Medical Center since February 2012, where ongoing PhD research focuses on the role of mesenchymal stromal cells in liver fibrogenesis. Prior experience includes working as a researcher at the Directoraat Onderzoek, and internships at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, focusing on cell adhesion proteins and breast cancer markers. Danny's educational background includes a Doctorate in Medicine and a Master's and Bachelor's in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences from Leiden University, supplemented by analytical experience at Proxy Laboratories and academic assistance roles at Leiden University.
