Cor Veenman is a highly experienced professional in the fields of data science, responsible AI, and computational forensics. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist in Data Science at TNO since December 2017 and as a Senior Researcher in Responsible AI at Leiden University since October 2015, Cor Veenman has held various significant positions including board member of the Dutch Society for Pattern Recognition and Image Processing from January 2008 to December 2017, and forensic scientist and data miner at the Netherlands Forensic Institute from 2005 to December 2017. Earlier academic contributions include roles as Assistant Professor at the University of Amsterdam and at Delft University of Technology, where Cor Veenman also completed a PhD in Computer Vision/Pattern Recognition. Educational qualifications encompass a Master of Science in Computer Science - Artificial Intelligence from VU Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
