Beverly Thompson

Beverly Thompson is a Senior Scientist at Leidos, where responsibilities include developing AI and machine learning solutions in computer vision, geospatial, and multimedia exploitation applications, highlighting over 23 years of experience in image and signal exploitation as well as rapid prototype development. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories, focusing on enhancing signal exploitation for seismic data processing, and as a Graduate Researcher at the College of William and Mary, working on image enhancement and classification methods. Beverly holds a PhD in Computer Science with a specialization in Multispectral Image Classification from William & Mary, alongside multiple advanced degrees in Peace and Conflict Studies, and Computer Science from recognized institutions.
